i bought a 85 mm maf and a p&p tb would the stock tb and maf be alright to put on the gtp or would it not make much of a differnece

If you port the blower to match the 75mm-78mm port on the ls1 throttle body it will flow more air and you might be able to drop a pulley size. Yes it will help every little mod on these cars to flow more air and to run cooler will help.

Instead of having to find someone to do it right around here. Or i can sell you a 02 stock sc i have. And u can port&polish this one, with out having to take urs off. ;D

With the right setup and tune. Did you buy a Ls1 TB with the right throttle cable brackets and adapter plate for the 3800 cars?
